Privacy Policy for Uloborus

Last updated: 20 August 2026

What this app is

Uloborus for Android is a read-only companion to the Uloborus ERP system. It displays information held on a Uloborus server operated by, or on behalf of, the manufacturing business that issued your account.

The app does not operate a service of its own, and it has no sign-up. An account can only be created for you by your plant's Uloborus administrator.

Who controls your information

The business running the Uloborus installation you sign in to is the controller of the information shown in the app.

The app is published by Woodfrog Tech (OPC) Private Limited ("Woodfrog"), a company registered in India.

If your plant hosts its own Uloborus installation, your data never reaches Woodfrog at all. The app talks to your server and to nothing else.

If your installation is hosted by Woodfrog, we process that data on your business's instructions, under our agreement with it.

What the app collects

The app collects nothing for its publisher. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third party tracking of any kind. It has four external code libraries: an HTTP client, an encrypted storage library, a link opener and a date formatter. None of them send anything to a third party.

Information the app transmits, and only ever to the Uloborus server you point it at:

Information the app stores on your device:

Your plant's business information, such as stock levels, orders, outstanding amounts and the contact details of parties your plant deals with, is fetched from your server for display only. The app does not keep it after it closes.

What the app does not do

The app is read-only, and this is enforced in the code rather than merely intended. It cannot create, change or delete any record on your Uloborus server, and it cannot change your password.

It asks for one Android permission: internet access. It does not request or receive access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or calendar.

Tapping a phone number or an address passes that number or address to whichever app you have chosen to handle calls or maps. What that app does next is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.

The app shows no advertising, and no information is sold or shared with anyone.

Security

All communication uses HTTPS. The app refuses unencrypted connections outright: the release build permits no cleartext traffic at all, and the session cookie carries a prefix that is only ever accepted over an encrypted connection.

Signing out deletes the stored session from your device.

How long information is kept

The app itself keeps nothing beyond the session and the server address described above. Both are removed when you sign out, and when you uninstall the app.

Records held inside your plant's Uloborus installation are governed by that business's own retention practices.

Deleting your account or your data

The app cannot delete your account, because it cannot alter records on your Uloborus server. To have your account or the records associated with it removed, contact your plant's Uloborus administrator, who can do this directly in the Uloborus system.

If your installation is hosted by Woodfrog and your administrator needs help with a deletion request, write to us at the address below.

Children

Uloborus is a workplace tool intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the revised version will be published at this address with a new date at the top.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or about how the app handles information, can be sent to:

hello@woodfrog.tech

If your question is about the records held in your plant's Uloborus installation, your plant's administrator is the faster route, since that business controls them.
